He graduated in 1989 with a BS in Accounting and Management, a time marked by academic success and significant in his personal life as he met his future partner. They married in June 1990 and have two cherished children.
His professional career began in a Waynesboro bank, where He served as a Controller. In this role, He was instrumental in managing financial operations and ensuring the bank's economic health. Darrell Howell's skill and dedication led to rapid career advancement, culminating in a role as the CFO of a prominent Canadian insurance company by the late 1990s.
Despite his success in the corporate sector, He felt driven to extend his influence further. This led him to pursue an MBA from Middle Tennessee State University, graduating in 2000 with a concentration in accounting. He then rejoined the insurance company, applying his expanded skill set to stimulate significant growth. However, desiring more time with his family, He shifted his focus to the family-owned Pizza Hut franchise, a local community mainstay since 1978. He expanded the franchise across multiple states, establishing himself as a significant figure in the restaurant industry by 2015 before transitioning back to the corporate world.
The experience of managing the Pizza Hut franchises brought unique challenges, differing from his corporate experiences. His dedication to providing affordable food options for the community and maintaining his family's legacy was warmly received by the locals.
Outside of his professional life, He is committed to balancing work and family. A sports enthusiast, He enjoys golfing, attending Tennessee volunteer sporting events, and believes in the enriching power of travel. These family travel experiences are deeply valued, as He always looks forward to new adventures.
